本サイトおよび有料相談は、日本で薬剤師免許を持つ柴田奈津子が、英語の文章で行う情報提供と相談です。

• 健康や薬、受診についてのご相談をお受けします。症状や体質に応じた市販薬（漢方製剤を含む）の提案、使い方・注意点の説明、処方された薬の説明、症状に合う診療科や受診できる医療機関を探すお手伝い、医薬品の持ち込み規則の案内のほか、日本で健康に暮らすうえでのご相談全般に応じます。
• 医師による診断や治療の代替ではありません。日本の法律（医師法）により医師にのみ認められている行為（病名の診断、治療、処方薬の処方）は行いません。市販薬の提案は薬剤師の業務であり、処方とは異なります。医師が処方した薬の中止・変更・用量の判断には関与しません。医薬品の販売・発送は現在行っていません。
• 本サイトは、日本に住む方、日本を訪れる方に向けた情報です。日本の制度と、日本で承認された医薬品に基づいており、他の国の制度や製品には当てはまらないことがあります。
• 記事の内容は執筆時点の情報です。制度・製品・添付文書は変わるため、購入時は箱と添付文書を、持ち込みは当局の判断を最終の根拠としてください。

• I take questions about your health, your medicines and getting care. I suggest over-the-counter medicines, including Kampo products, for your symptoms and constitution; explain how to use them and what to watch for; explain medicines you have been prescribed; help you find the right type of clinic and medical institutions you can actually visit; and explain Japan's rules on bringing medicines in, as well as any other question a pharmacist can help with about staying well in Japan.

Under Japanese law (the Medical Practitioners Act), I do not do what is reserved for doctors: diagnosing, treating, or prescribing prescription medicines. Suggesting over-the-counter medicines is pharmacist work and is not prescribing. I do not decide whether to stop, change or re-dose a medicine your doctor has prescribed. • This site is for people living in or visiting Japan. It is based on Japan's rules and on medicines approved in Japan, and may not apply to the rules or products of other countries.
