One question, answered properly.
Send me one thing you're stuck on. Here's what comes back.
For example
- A photo of your prescription → what each medicine is, how to take it, in plain English
- The name of a medicine you take at home → whether you can bring it in, what paperwork it needs, and whether Japan has an equivalent
- Your constitution type from the free check → which Kampo formulas are traditionally used for that type, and where to buy them in Japan
- A medicine you were handed and don't understand → what it's for, what to watch for, how to get more
- You're unwell and don't know where to go → I find a clinic you can go to, call ahead, and explain what you were given. Full example below.
One session, step by step
You're unwell in Japan and don't know where to go. Here is what happens.
01 You tell me what's going on
Write to me in English: your symptoms, roughly where you are, whether you have Japanese health insurance, and any medicine you already take. No forms, no phone call.
02 I find where you can actually go
Japanese clinics have steps — booking, reception, a questionnaire — that aren't obvious from outside. I narrow down clinics near you that take new patients and are open when you need them.
03 I call ahead for you
I confirm with the clinic: whether they see non-Japanese patients, what to bring (insurance card, passport, a referral letter if needed), and if you're paying yourself, the rough cost and whether it's cash only. You get all of it in writing. Only clinics I could actually reach are marked "confirmed".
04 You go — with a note in Japanese on your phone
I send you a short note in Japanese by LINE: your symptoms, how long, what you take. At the reception desk you just show your screen. That's it.
05 After the visit
Send me a photo of what you were given. I explain each medicine in English: what it's for, how to take it, what to watch for, and how to get the same thing next time.
All of this is one session.
¥8,000. In writing. First reply within 24 hours.
I am a pharmacist. I cannot diagnose you or tell you to stop a medicine your doctor has prescribed. If your symptoms are severe, call 119 for an ambulance — don't wait for me.
